In 2016 I played for a wedding in Anderson Texas for a bride who married a man from Scottland. She hired Houston Bagpiper to play for the wedding ceremony. The bride hired a film company to video her wedding. I played for the wedding rehersal and the wedding. 

www.filmstrong.com was the company who put together an awesome video that highlighted the wedding. They did and incredible job and were extremely professional.

In 2008 Cpl. Scott A. McIntosh along with four others, were killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq. Every year the Scott A. McIntosh Memorial Golf Tournament is held to raise scholarship funds to help the families of soldiers who have died in combat. During the memorial, an american flag with the name of a soldiers who has died is placed at the alter to honor the person who paid the ultimate price.

Lucas M. Lowe Memorial Service

 

I was contacted by Allison Funeral Home to play at the graveside for one of the pilots who went down in Galveston. The service was held on Wednesday January 11, 2017 at 1:00pm. The locaton for the memorial service was at North Main Baptist Church in Hardin followed by a graveside service at Guedry Cemetery.

I had to play Amazing Grace at the graveside. Because they did not know how long the service was going to take, I had to get out there early to be ready when they arrived.

I just finished playing my bagpipes for golfers at South Shore Harbor Counrty Club as they left to play in a tournament. The moon was beautiful! The clouds were spectacular and the humidity was miserable. Just another day for Houston Bagpiper.
